Am delighted that disgusting Greg Wallace has lost his case against the BBC, and that BBC has appointed 2 women to host the show, pity about the name though. When will the BBC finally realise that hiring a particular type of middle aged bloke (the sort who think 'bantz' is fine for example) is a liability and will cost them dearly if they don't learn from this?

I didn’t read the master in masterchef as master/mister

i read it as master as in master of the arts

I can see why they want to keep the same name for the show. It's always been called that, even when it was Lloyd Grossman.
I'm glad GW has gone and lost his stupid case too.

Masterchef refers to the contestants competing to be the master of the chefs in the competition not the hosts. Gregg isn’t a chef, and certainly not a master one.

It thought it referred to having a ‘mastery’ like mastery is the state of having complete control, deep understanding, or extreme skill in a particular subject or craft. It’s the transition from "knowing how" to "it being a part of who you are."

Well that’s according to the “psychology of skills”… as in like a Masters Degree?
