Sectioned to a single gender, mixed sex ward

Yesterday I was sectioned to a supposedly female ward. There are two patients who are transwomen. I feel really vulnerable, but I’m scared of saying anything because this ward has better access than the other female ward, plus they presumably have the same problem. What can I do? After all I can’t discharge myself

However as devil's advocate, what would be the repercussions emotionally/psychologically and physically for the patients you mentioned being allocated to a ward for their birth gender? What about it makes you uncomfortable?

Why should the OP give a shit about the 'repercussions' for the TW who have invaded the female space? Is she their mum? OPs got her own stuff to deal with, those patients stuff isn't her problem.

I'm so sorry the capture of the NHS by queer theory has led to this situation you're in, it's wrong. I second the suggestion to contact Baroness Nicholson, I contacted her about the trans inclusion policy at my work (NHS hospital) and she was helpful

Why not just go the whole hog then and tell them they are absolutely fine, and just in a health spa?
