So the father raped and abused the mum (in front of the kids?) then sexually assaulted his son and another boy.

I take it this came out after Connor was arrested?

What a horrid mess.

Where were the police/social work when this predator was destroying these lives?

I don't know anything about the other boy. But there are reports that the foster parents had concerns about Connors sexualised behaviour.

I don't think you can blame police or sw the children were removed at 2 and 5. How would police / sw know what was happening in the house until Connor was able to say or showed signs of abuse?

But the sexual abuse must have been known about and is probably what led them to be taken into care in the first place.

Maybe there should have been better support therapies for both children when they were very young, maybe they would have been better separated, so many ifs and buts.

I've just gone and read about the Dads conviction it's for crimes between 2001 and 2008.
So yes stuff has probably come out during the questioning of Connor as an adult. 2008 must have been around the time the kids were taken into care.

The mother was also abused by the father. I think she might have been the rape victim but that's a guess based on the dates.
