So glad to read this - but it has been hanging over her for two and a half years. I wonder if they will pursue the alleged offenders now?

I wish this meant that those involved in the original outrageous treatment of this poor woman will be removed from their posts. I hope the men are finally tried for the crime they committed. She is so very brave to pursue this, amazing woman, I hope she finds peace.

Thank goodness, this is one of the worst miscarriages of justice I’ve seen. Her family have said she’s doing well at uni and that she’s trying to move on and not let this experience define her. I really hope she can do just that as the best revenge to the pieces of shit who raped her. She is so brave to be fighting this! She was brutalised by those men, then brutalised again by the police and then finally by the justice system. If she was my daughter I’d be looking for their heads on a platter. Agree with PPs I will never be taking my family back to Cyprus.

I too will never take my children to Cyprus.
I am not very good at writing posts like this but if the victim or your family is reading this, I wish you the very best and I believe you. I believed you from the start. You were treated disgracefully. I hope you find peace and great happiness going forward.
