Just men being a bunch of babies because their 'human rights' aren't being protected apparently

Tagging on, Mail reports a teenage boy approached a married woman, and became suicidal to be rejected, so his family had her gang raped and tortured, then paraded to the evident delight of watching men, women and children. India is sometimes beyond understanding. I didn't read the detail, but would it be because she was lower caste, therefore the boy believed himself perfectly entitled?

To be fair, this would be beyond understanding for most Indians too.

It is all of a piece, if you don't really think women and girls are equal humans. As the COP climate photo showed, virtually everywhere in the world men are running the show.
A minor news item last week was a Syrian five year old girl, kidnapped and raped. When she was returned to her parents they did the only thing they could, to restore family honour: They killed her.

It was later in Scotland than England so I don't know when it was harmonised for the UK.
It really isn't that long ago.

It’s unbearable. Poor little soul. And all the others we don’t even hear about.

It was about 1990. I remember because I was a student and there was a student debate - for and against a change in the law to make a man raping his wife illegal. I missed the debate, unfortunately.

Men really really really aren't women. A lot of them genuinely don't comprehend that.
To many men, 'cottaging' in a gay bar or a pub is easy to understand: Instant intimate contact with a stranger seems natural to them.
They forget that mutual attraction and mutual consent is involved in those events, and that if another man attempted force, his intended man-prey would have a fair chance of fighting free, unsodomised.
There's a lot wrong with porn, but perhaps the least noted is the worst: In the male's fantasy-land, all women are like the males of most animal species during mating season; crazed with eagerness at every possibility.
(All women are young and within the top 10% of attractiveness, too, and never have periods, never need condoms, and surprisingly never become pregnant nor contract and transmit disease)
A man's brain may cope with the idea that a woman might have ideally preferred a different man, or different surroundings, or that wierd women-creatures seem to like some kinds of courtship ritual. But he possibly won't truly understand that unlike him, some women would sometimes prefer not to copulate at all, even when there is the perfect opportunity of someone else being nearby.
Yes, NAMALT. But it only needs one who is, to wreck or to end a life.
