'“So somebody who knows him told me, and I’d be interested in getting your take on this, that getting Covid-19 emasculated him, it changed him, it feminized him, it weakened him as a man,”
It might be about the 4 weeks or so that I thought and DH too. That having been so ill. He seemed less brash. Subdued. When he spoke about COVID he seemed more sincere talking about infections, NHS, deaths.
He came across unsurprisingly as someone who had been extremely ill, could have died, knew he had a close call. Shaken, the deep shock that comes with actually having to face your own mortality.
He was back to normal pretty quickly though obv.
Maybe that's what this fella is talking about.
Being affected by very serious illness at all is not manly. Even if it lasts for a very brief time.
(He had a young baby. If it's s sign of weakness for s man to get s bit thoughtful for s very short time after touch and go when baby at home.
That would be be extremely concerning indeed. Essentially no emotions at all.
That's what he wants all men to be like?
What a terrifying prospect.
Is this guy a sociopath or similar?).
