16:8 and feel shocking

OK, so I have other conditions including GERD, fibromyalgia and high BP so I started 16:8 this week to help me to shift some weight. I have about 6-7 stone to lose so it's going to be for the long-haul!
I started on Monday feeling OK and have not felt too hungry overall. Concentrating on veg and lean protein for meals but allowing some carbs like rice, wholemeal bread and potatoes. Eating window was 1-9 as I like to have a meal with my husband at night ideally.
I have started to feel horribly sick and nauseous over the last couple of days and the top of my stomach feels like it's on fire (probably acid-related). I have also had a fibro flare-up and the skin on my arms feels like it's burnt. I guess the question is whether this is worth continuing with and pushing through the symptoms. Has anyone else with fibro/acid reflux issues experienced this. Do just need to "woman up" and deal with the pain for a bit? Really keen to lose the weight ASAP and I have conventionally struggled with other plans so keeping to 2 meals a day seems ideal.

No specific advice to give beyond that I've often read for those who find it particularly challenging, it's best to edge towards it - ie if normally a 12 hour window, do 11 hours for a few days, then 11, 10.5, 10 etc.... so your body acclimatises. Any sudden change, including diet composition can be too much for some bodies

Personally, with multiple health issues, I soldiered through a tough first 10 days feeling a bit faint and very hungry ... but it might not have been the most sensible thing to do.

You shouldn't start straight away on 16:8, especially with your health issues. You need to start gradually, say on 12:12 then very slowly and gradually over weeks, or even better miinths, move to 14:10, then possibly 16:8.

I wouldn't change your diet at the same time as this, which it sounds like you're doing. Have one extra meal but keep to the healthier foods. If you find evening snacking a problem then go maybe 9pm to 10am then a small but healthy breakfast (egg?). I think if you're doing the fast plus cutting out lots of sugar it may be more to do with that. I would say the healthy eating needs adjustment then add the longer fast in. If you're eating same as always but just one less meal then that reaction is extreme.
