F800 online - any good?

I'm wondering whether it is worth investing in this to take all the decision making out of it. Can you switch recipes if there are ones you don't fancy? Are there meals suitable for taking into the office without cooking on the spot?

Anyone used it and thought it was better than just using the books?
Ps if you have the books, which is the best? I have the f800 fast and easy or something similar.

It's definitely worth investing in IMO. It makes you stick to it!

Yes, you can switch any or all the recipes really easily. Once you've been doing it a few weeks, you work out your favourites as well that you can mark as such and then mix it up with new recipes they suggest.

Some of the amounts in the recipes are out, especially if you are scaling up to feed a family, but if you are a fairly regular cook you'll be able to side step it. I sized up the online easy chilli tonight for example, and put half the amount of tinned tomatoes and kidney beans in it because I could gauge it didn't need it. Plus, that lowered the calories a little.

The amounts for one person seem very good though.

I also work out the week and switch things around so I take leftovers into work for lunch.

I have a few of the books, and haven't bothered referring back to them since I bought the subscription.

Thanks! I just keep thinking £99 is a lot of money! I wonder if they'll do a black Friday sale?

There are a lot of factors to consider when making this decision. What is your budget? What type of cuisine do you want to cook? What type of equipment do you have?

One option might be to invest in a few quality cookbooks instead of an expensive set of recipes. That way, you can choose the recipes that fit your needs and tastes, and you'll have a hard copy to refer back to whenever you need it.

Started it on October 1st and have lost over 1.5st so far. I have always struggled to stick to a diet but this is more a new way of eating (WOE). It does help that hubby is doing it too and he has lost 2st!
Our 12 weeks is up on Dec 24 but I am going to keep it up as I am enjoying it and have a lot to lose.
You soon learn what you can and can't eat so can make meals up on your own to suit or follow the plan. I dip in and out to ensure I stay on track.
