How long did it take you to get pregnant? (Unstable cycle)

I am a 28 year-old woman who is a great health but has a very unstable menstrual cycle. My partner is 33 and also healthy. We have been trying for a baby for the past month and I can’t help but stress about the result. How likely is it that I get pregnant with a first try Considering there are no medical reasons that would inhibit healthy pregnancy. Any other women with an unstable cycle out here?

What do you mean by unstable? As in not regular?

I have an irregular cycle, always have done. Anything from 40-54 days. I got pregnant immediately with 2 of my DC. The other took longer for other reasons.

Yes irregular.
sometimes 30-35 day, sometimes 40-45 days

Have you ever considered conditions such as PCOS? Have a read of this and see if any of the symptoms might apply - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pcos/

I have always had irregular cycles - sometimes only 3 per year. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 28. I needed fertility treatment for my first DD but had a natural conception for my second after around 6months ttc. I have found taking inositol has made a huge difference in regulating my cycle. I take these ones: https://novomins.com/products/inositol-gummies?variant=45985592180982&currency=GBP&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=PMAX%20%7C%20Public%20Nectar%20Shopping&utm_content=&tw_source=google&tw_adid=&tw_campaign=16605957105&tw_kwdid=&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=16618557488&gclid=CjwKCAjwy7HEBhBJEiwA5hQNoi_6WxGODhxgxCufIh9kAM8E1YOu_AFf6otS0G8FyrQRfVocbudhTBoCtkAQAvD_BwE (sorry for long links) 🙈

I also found losing weight and maintaining a lowish carb diet helped my cycles as well.

Polycystic ovary syndrome

Read about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common condition that affects how a woman's ovaries work.
