Short Luteal Phase

Hi! I have two children - conceived via clomid. I have a short luteal phase of about ten days. I have just suffered a miscarriage and I used cyclogest pessaries to extend my luteal phase. I reached 5.5 weeks and miscarriaged.

I would like to conceive again but I'm worried about having another miscarriage. Would it be best to try with clomid again as it took my ovulation date to day 14 or continue with a natural pregnancy and ovulate on day 20 and take the pessaries to extend the luteal phase? Does clomid produce a better egg? Any advice if you've suffered with a short luteal phase appreciated!
