Hi all,
I am honestly so torn between having 2 or having 3. Not planning any kiddies for a fair while yet but wanted to know everyone’s opinions.
I come from a family of 2 full siblings and 2 step siblings and dp has 1 sibling and two step and feels the same way as I do.
main concerns over having 3:
cars-will I need a 7 seater (am rubbish at parking and currently struggle doing that in my little fiesta)
seats on planes etc
rides where you have to go in pairs
not having enough time/attention for all of them

any advice/experiences welcome 🤗

Finances are affected with 3. Bigger car, house etc. Stressful. Physically hard work when small. Depends on your age as well. Don't leave it too late.

I don’t think you can plan in advance. I wanted multiple kids but had such awful birth injuries from the first one that I was too afraid to have another. My mum wanted a big family and wanted me to have siblings, but despite her best efforts she only got pregnant twice, with a 13 year gap between kids. You can’t plan how things will turn out.

Have one child first and see how you feel.

You do what's right for you and your family, no one can tell you how many children is right for you.
My sister has 3 and says she 100% happy and her family is complete.
Me- I've just this week had my tubes tied because I am now happy and content with my size family, I have 7.
You will know when your family is complete, for whatever reason x

I have 3, and obviously would not swap this, but things are far more set up for families of just 4. Unless you are pretty well off, you will need to think about whether you can afford to factor in needing at least 2 hotel rooms on holiday (a family of 4 can often get a family room) and family tickets to attractions are often for 2 adults and 2 children too. We have a 7 seather car and mostly camp, go youth-hostelling, or book cottages for holidays.

Thank you @Hippee hadn't really thought of those points
