Hi, just looking for people's opinions on these contraceptions.

I've got 2 babies under 16 months and do not want to get pregnant again, like ever. I have a bad memory and caught up in life and don't want to forget to take a pill.

We're just giving this thread a bump for you, OP, in case anyone's around to add their thoughts.

Following!

I’m looking at going back on contraception after having DS2. I also don’t want to be pregnant again. Ever.

I had the copper coil before ttc the 2nd time. It was great. But the strings went up into my womb and I had to have scans and a last ditch manual retrieval before surgery was the only option.

I’m now debating whether to go back on it (I don’t think the strings going missing is common, although the dr said it happens more than you’d think) or the implant but I’m not fond of the idea of artificial hormones again. 🤷🏻‍♀️😬

I've had the implant for years. Due for third one to be implanted in april. I've never had problems on it and no periods. The coil has never appealed to me. I don't enjoy a smear never mind routing around up there to install something 🤢

I had the injection for 8 years, no periods at all but needed them every 11 weeks as I used to get anxiety with the dip in hormones in week 12. That kept me even! After having come off to TTC, I have had 3 implants as more convenient. I had bleeding with them all, initially a bit all over the place then settled into light and regular bleeds. It was definitely doable. Feels weird that it's there for a day or two, but easily forgotten once healed. I have never had a coil. I hope this helps!
