I could really use opinions or thoughts please! I just took these 5 tests today..... the top 2 were around 2 pm and the other 3 were just now!

I had a little fun with a good friend who is also single we didn’t use protection but I am now scared it may have split! This was not planned Hence using protection etc! Please no negativity this is not a bragging post or anything, I just need a supportive or friendly ear as I am alone and family are fractured and no female friends to confide in..... I guess what I’m asking is

How accurate are the one step cheapies you buy on eBay/ amazon??

I don’t have regular periods due to pcos and have to take provera every 3/4 months to induce a bleed! My last provera bleed was 1-6 July after stopping my course of provera 10 days prior to this! I have just recently been told by my fertility doctor I won’t get pregnant naturally as he doesn’t believe I am ovulating and that my egg quality is seriously poor so I would be lucky so to speak or unlucky as in his words would not be viable and end in miscarriage again! 😢💔

I tried to add as much detail as possible and will attach some pictures. I'm so sorry for the long thread/ post just could do with some support! 💜💗

@AntiHop

I will have a little look and see the prices! Depending on price it maybe possible.

Congratulations! Hope all goes well with your scan next week!!

It's so easy to almost be in denial and convince yourself they are fake positives. It's as though your trying to make rote the you're and prevent getting your hopes up!

Thank you! Xx

How are you op? Any news 🤞

PearlHeart · 06/11/2020 17:28

@mumcop

Sorry for delayed reply,

They said they think it's going to be the same as before with any tissue being non viable or being absorbed hence them prescribing these horrible tablets

I have been prescribed Medroxyprogesterone (provera) tables 20mg per day for 7 days!

so I have to take them and if I don't start to bleed within 10 days I have to call back up and will get another round of the medication!

However if I do start to bleed I won't need a second round of medication and that I just have to allow it to run it's course which can be bleeding for anything between 3-20 days! Just what you want! 😢

I'm so sorry to read this.
Thinking of you x

Hoping it goes well for you. Have you had a scan?

PearlHeart · 06/11/2020 21:13

No scans or blood tests or anything ..,.. they have basically written me off as they said if tests not getting much darker or really changing much then it's not likely to be a positive outcome!

I'm kind of expected the brush off anyway, I'm not overly surprised!
Having been blocked basically every step of the way with fertility clinic etc and having to battle for bloods or even to be seen!

I think I just need to try be realistic and have to deal with being childless! It seems like there's always something that n my way and goalposts being changed constantly! Plus turning 30 in 7months And being told not to come to my fertility/ endocrinologist at/ after 30 as he can't help me, I'm running out of options and being single is just another set back!

I am not eligible for any ivf / iui or any medical assistance 😢

I'm also not likely to be allowed to adopt or foster

Nobody I know would be a surrogate for me and don't have money to find one privately

💗💜
