What is your experience with it?

Did it cause missed periods, weight gain, increased length of cycle?

TIA

Very very heavy periods - pain that knocked me to the ground on occasion - my sympathy with anyone who suffers.

I also had 2 miscarriages which may or may not have been related.

Kindlethefourth · 14/06/2020 17:06

Painful periods before diagnosis including awful localised pain which get like someone tugging on a knot. As a positive I was told I would have struggle conceiving yet thankfully got pregnant twice straightaway.

Kindlethefourth · 14/06/2020 17:07

Diamond eyes what you are describing sounds more like PCOS symptoms.

diamondeyes · 14/06/2020 17:48

@Germolenequeen
Sorry for your losses

@Kindlethefourth I have considered PCOS too. I have always struggled TTC too.

@diamondeyes

Thank you - hopefully you get a diagnosis & treatment soon 💐

CrumpetsAndPuzzles · 14/06/2020 17:52

You could actually have both.

diamondeyes · 14/06/2020 18:59

@CrumpetsAndPuzzles

I have had one laparoscopy in 2014 which stated on the discharge form "treated endometriosis"
I have never been actually told I have endometriosis by a consultant or GP which I found confusing.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition which can’t be treated! I have severe endo and have had three laparoscopies, but the endo keeps coming back. I think you should see another gynaecologist - not easy at the moment though!

diamondeyes · 17/06/2020 15:24

I have contacted GP and she said it doesn't sound right so she's sending me for bloods and a scan.
Feel like I'm back at square one , four years ago with all these tests.

How frustrating! Endometriosis is only diagnosed with a laparoscopy, as scans can detect large cysts but can’t detect smaller ones or adhesions. Good luck!

Darklava09 · 21/06/2020 22:13

Yes I have endo and have all
Of those symptoms and apparently don’t have PCOS but I think I also have that.
I was diagnosed via laparoscopy.

Sallyeva · 24/07/2020 10:11

I was diagnosed with Endo at 21, had the most horrific abdominal pain where I used to pass out. 11 years, 3 laparoscopies later and the pill and I'm pain free!
Sadly have been TTC for 20 months though.
