Nurse not able to remove coil

This happened to anyone else? What happened If they couldn't remove it?

@gracefull but surely it's still in place so still doing the job? If that makes sense?

They can migrate as well as get embedded so may not be working as well as it should

@dementedpixie she found the threads but couldn't quite get them to pull it out. When she did, it wasn't nice at all.

Her telling you to use a second method suggests to me she is worried about if it is working effectively, as may have migrated as pp suggested, but I am just guessing

@gracefull I wondered that and whether she'd actually moved it possibly and that's why she said that. She did say the appointment should come through quickly too. But still not had a letter. So I really don't know

Just to update. I've got an appointment with gynae in a months time! It asks for me to take a urine sample. Anyone know why? I'm guessing they are just going to try and remove it at this appointment. But it does say to be prepared to wait

I went to this appointment and they said they couldn't remove it there as they said I may need additional help if I passed out?? So I've been referred to gynae in a large hospital.
