Which mini pill do you take?

Cerazette
Noriday
Norgeston

Which has the least side effects? I don't care about 3/12hr window as I'm anally retentive at taking pills at the exact time. I just want to pick the one that causes minimal bleeding and impact on mental health.

Noriday was the best but the no bleeding gaps got shorter and after 4 months I was continually bleeding, lasted about 2 months after that and the dr said he didn’t think it would stop. When it was working though it was amazing! Only thing that ever has for any length of time. Definitely worth a go!

So what do you take instead?

I’m on noriday, my periods are slightly heavier than they were before and pretty painful. I also find my mood is generally lower.
Avoid cerazette like the plague! It turned me absolutely insane, I was a horrible person to be around!

Cerazette was great for me. No periods for years and no other side effects. You don't know until you take it whether it suits you

And mirena was ok for me too and had no periods for 5 years with it either. Had to have it removed under general anaesthetic though as the strings couldn't be found

Nothing atm. Nothing works (well cilest does but they said it was too expensive to give me long term). I’m not with my husband atm because I’ve been bleeding for a very long time now and we have kind of grown apart because of it. Don’t ‘need’ anything atm

awkwardsitch · 15/03/2018 18:46

You can but cilest yourself

Thank you! I’ve been trying this from A few places but it’s out of stock or they contact your dr and you have to already have been taking it. Or they do online consultations and advise something totally different but give no reason. Women eh? I’d love to see men deal with all of this ...
