Coming off the pill

I've been on the pill since I was 15 on and off and since turning 40 I was advised to go on the mini pill. This was horrible and to cut a long story short I have now come off Micronor and not using anything ( my partner has had a vasectomy).
I feel bloated all the time and have stomach cramps and my periods are all over the place. First one was 35 days. Second was 14 days. Has anyone else felt bad after coming off the pill and how long does it take to get back to normal?

I've heard it can take up to a year for periods to settle down coming off the pill

I was taken off the pill, because they now say that you should not be on it if you have ever had migraines. I had taken it on and off for 29 years and only had one year left.

Anyway, had cerazette, femulen and micronor, all of them had the same unacceptable problems and am now using condoms and hoping that I am so far into perimenopause that I am unlikely to get pregnant.

I had no period for 5 months on pop, then had 2, 3 weeks apart. Then one after 6 weeks, then every 3 weeks, give or take 5 days until last month, when I had 3. I have now gone 2 weeks with no bleeding.

I had very little bleeding whilst on the pill, in fact, it was getting so little over the last 4 years that I thought I had gone through meno already (along with other symptoms). It would appear not. The intensity is all over the place too. It has been 1 year and 3 months now.

I have been filling in perimenopause charts to keep an eye on things in the vain hope that I can predict what is going on. That is not working, but at least I have the information to hand, should I need to see the doctor about heavy periods or hrt.

I came off cerazette a month ago ttc, and have had some not nice symptom a no period. After looking online, it does look quite common. I knew it could take 'a while' for periods to return and certainly to return to normal, but I hadn't heard of all the other symptoms that went with it'! Most seem to suggest a couple of months, but some say up to a year. Frustrating that there is no official guidance on this from the manufacturers!
