I am on micronor due to breastfeeding and age...so I planned on staying on the mini pill.

Now that I have finished breastfeeding I have had a very heavy period every 2 weeks!!! Yuck. Will my body adjust or do I need to switch?

GP is practically forcing me to the coil, but I really dont like that idea. Is cerazette worth a try? is it better than micronor in terms of bloating and heavy frequent periods?

I had fortnightly periods with micronor and femulen and NO periods (apart from the occasional odd one) with cerazette so it could be worth trying it.

Hmmm, I bled almost continuously with Cerazette and my hair started falling out so think it's all down to what works for different people. I read quite a bit on it and opinion seemed to be pretty equally divided as to its merits.

This tells you about all the mini pills as there are 4 different types you could have. It alco has links with more info about each one. The good thing about the pills is that if you dont get on with one you can stop taking it and it is out your system fairly quickly.
