Has anyone ever requested their labour notes?

If so, what did kind of information did you receive?
I'm thinking I'm going to request mine but just wondered how much of it they actually give you and is it worth it.
Does it include the midwive's written notes during labour any operation notes (for a CS) or is it just all the stuff we carried around in the red folder plus a birth summary or something?
Also, if you got them, was there anything in them you didn't already know? Grin

Sorry, I didn't want to derail the thread with my own woes, it was a few years ago now, but thanks ladies. Just wanted to make the point to the OP that she might a)Find it difficult but not impossible to get and more importantly b) if she wanted to use them to prove that she needed a CS and was hoping to find admissions in her notes, she was probably going to be disappointed

Thanks mince I really appreciate your input Smile
thederkinsdame Shock how careless! You would think that notes would be double checked before posting.
Mind you I got ds's first passport back along with a loose photo inside of a random stranger- a spooky looking little dark haired boy Grin
