Cerazette - 6 years

Hi, im not sure if this is the right place to post, but I was just hoping someone could maybe offer me some advice?

Ive been on Cerazette for 6 years now and apart from the first six months when my periods were all over the place for the last 5 years I have had no periods, no spotting, nothing whatsoever.

Although odd this has ben fine, regular checkups etc mean I am fine with this.

Im in my last term of last year at uni and under a lot of stress so have been feeling really run down and achey, quite teary and all over the place for the past month or so, dry skin etc
I kind of dismissed it as uni stress and tryed to not be too bothered until two days ago.

I started having severe cramps, and thought i must have had a stomach bug, but the next day I started bleeding - a fair bit, quite clotty.

Sorry if this it tmi, but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced a sudden bleed whilst on cerazette ffor a long time.
Atm, its like im having a regular period now, less clotty, but that achey feeling in my stomach.

Thanks

yup. I usually have no periods but I had a 10 day one out of the blue last year, crampy and horrible

oh wow thanks brighthair, that is reassurring, but i am a little unsure if it could be some sort of chemical pregnancy, because my periods never used to be this painful or clotty...

I did ring up my dr who told me (TMI!) if the clots were no bigger than a plum I had nothing to worry about. It did go on for what felt like forever though

definately no bigger than a plum! thats a relief, hopefully a nice bath will help soothe the cramps, thanks for your help brighthair!
