I have used one for about 2 years after ds until I fell pg with dd and I was wondering can they weaken internal muscle's?

I sustained quite a bit of damaged muscle in labor on dd with no reason as to why I would IYSWIM and wondered if this could have weakened the muscle, I know I can't use it any more the damage is where it fits.

No reason whatsoever for a cap to damage or weaken muscles internally.
Much more likely for the delivery to damage your muscle. (Ie pushing out a 7lb baby compared with a little disc which doesnt really exert much force)
The other thing is of course, being pregnant causes the muscles to relax. Hence all those instructions to do pelvic floor exercises.

Have you seen the consultant post delivery?

I have seen 8 different HCP now 6 have said definitely something wrong 2 have said nothing wrong and discharged me. I didn't have difficulty pushing or any stitches or anything so left thinking all was fine but sadly no I am waiting to get a gyni appointment thanks a lot.

Can I ask what symptoms you are having ? If 6 said something wrong, there must be a reason...

Sorry this will be long. Sex is very painful in fact just touching internally is painful, incontinence, I also had a bad allergic reaction post birth and had about 20 5 penny piece sized blisters erupt there. The wall where my bladder is sags sometimes protruding outside and I find when I try to empty my bowels the muscle just falls down and it stops me from pushing.

If I lift anything heavy or do too much it aches, burns and stings, by too much I mean things that were previously normal. DD is 1 tomorrow.

I went in and the ladies were gasping and calling more into the room when there were 6 they had me a emergency appointment but my consultant I saw the next day said I have to expect some damage if I won't have a section either you tear or stretch beyond endurance" I don't know why he said that when it was full of bleeding blisters. I went away suffered in silence and spoke to my gp recently who is going to get a referral.

That consultant needs a kick in the balls. How dare he treat you like that.

You have been putting up with that for a year? You poor thing.
Sounds to me like you need a repair. (I cant say exactly which bit, but it sounds like a cystocele or rectocele- basically there is a weakness in the muscle wall, most likely the one affecting the bladder, if you are having continence problems.)
Cystocele
Rectocele

Your GP at least has referred you on. A good Gyno will sort you out.

Thank you it sounds like the Cystocele, which certainly puts my mind at rest thanks.
