www.amazon.co.uk/Nursery-Rhyme-Time-Fanny-Waterman/dp/057150986X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1276701515&s r=8-1-catcorr

looks good we use the Piano time books but they are not only nursery rhymes.

The John Thompson series is good, although I don't think they have nursery rhymes.

Try Suzuki, maybe?

If you look up books on musicroom.com they have full listings of the contents. I find this very helpful. The pieces in the suzuki book 1 are very good. I don't think there are any nursery rhymes though. DD uses suzuki books for piano and violin even she is not learning the suzuki method.

Suzuki Piano School - Book 1 - (New International Edition) contents: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Variations, Lightly Row version 1, Honeybee, Cuckoo, Lightly Row version 2, French Children's Song, London Bridge, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Go Tell Aunt Rhody, Au Claiur de la Lune, Long Long Ago, Little Playumates, Chant Arabe, Allegretto 1, Good-bye to Winter, Allegretto 2, Christmas-Day Secrets, Allegro, Musette - English, Grench, German and Spanish

it seems it does have twinkle twinkle had forgotten

If you scroll down you can see list of contents. However, my oldest daughter has pointed out this is not always the case. Tuition books often do not have list of contents apparently. DD just rolled her eyes and looked at me as if I am hopeless. She also sends your little one good luck with Piano

belgo · 16/06/2010 17:05

that's very sweet.

The piano teacher isn't english but I want an english piano book for my dd1.
