Found a piano teacher that charges £20 an hour and £10 for half hour in London, these are her quals. What do you think?

Piano Tutor Music BA (Hons) Degree, Grade 8 piano, Grade 7 Oboe, Grade 6 singing, Grade 5 Theory.

Seems fine to me, but then again I know nothing about this!

Bumping for you.

My son's teacher charges £10 half hour lesson so it seems about right.

Those show how accomplished she is as a player, which is reasonable though not exceptional. (Higher quals would be LRAM DipABRSM, others I'm sure).

But the most important things are rapport with the student - how they interact with them, encourage them and motivate them; and also how good they are at explaining the techniques required. (Just because you are good at something yourself doesn't mean you can explain it to someone else.)

Most teachers would be happy for you to go along and have a couple of trial lessons to see how you get along together.

agree with roisin

That sounds fine as qualifications and price. I would get a trial lesson to see what she is like in action.
