DD loves swimming and was having 1:1 about 6 months ago but because of the cost we drop the 1:1 and instead she did group lessons. This went quickly to 2 lessons a week. Her level of swimming did slip in the group and then she had a bad neck. Anyway the good swimming went out the window.
Before all this she had wanted to start with a different group run by the swim club but I felt it was to much (later in the evening and 1hr of lanes she was only just 7). Anyway in the end I gave in and she was assessed but her level of swim wasn't quite their. Then she got a bad neck.
Anyway the neck is better she still in the same group lessons, gone back to 1 a week and is very bored but would rather that then no lessons. So I booked her back into 1:1 lessons as she asked for (different and cheaper teacher) She's had 4 lessons and has improved so much. Most of which is down to lots of little bad habits not been corrected in the group lessons. Now this is making the group lesson really look rubbish and I not sure I want to keep paying for them if she can go up to the swim club lesson, but suddenly dd doesn?t want to do the swim club lessons.
Any ieads what the best thing to do is.

I'd go with the better tutition myself.

That's the hard thing that I don't really know how the tutition compares between the pool's group lessons and the swim club all I know is she will get so much more swimming from the swim club lessons (been 1 hr not 1/2hr plus lenghts not 1/2 lenghts) and at a higher level. Plus the add bonus if she wants to do more it a foot in the door of the swim club. Plus it's cheaper.
1:1 is the best but it's costly and have told dd we will probably only do that till Christmas at the longest. Really just to get her going again, she was hoping she would get better so she could start the swim club lessons, which she wouldn't be far again.
Don't want to push her to much as she now swims as a hobby not because I insist which I did when she was younger.
