Is Lego land worth it with a 21mo?

I've been looking at something to do for a staycation week in October and I thought legoland might be fun with DD.

She'll be 21 months and I've had a look at the website and it looks like there'll be plenty of things she'll be big enough to do.

But considering it's so expensive, I wanted to know from people who have done it whether they felt it was worth it with at toddler at that age? Do you think they got a lot out of it or do you think they might have enjoyed any other cheaper activity just as much?

My kids have loved it and if you get a toddler ticket (weekdays during term time) it's a lot more affordable. ☺️

Paultons Park (incorporating Peppa Pig World) near Southampton might be a better bet, but check its opening days. used to be free for children under 1m.

Also nearby is Longdown Activity Farm, again check opening.

No. Do thomasland at Drayton manor instead!

Nope

No. It's really not a good place to take the littlest ones (and it costs an arm and a leg).

Or gullivers land, we did a sleepover at their beach huts, they were brilliant.

Yes Peppa Pig Land is free for under 1m. We were there two weeks ago, my toddler loved it, spent nearly all day in just that part. They have a little splash park there and a play area if they bored of the rides.

No, it’s hateful. Wait until she’s older, and grit your teeth to queue for hours for each ride.

Going against the grain and saying yes it is brilliant as long as you avoid school holidays like the plague!

I have had brilliant days in legoland with my kids as preschoolers over the past 2 years in term time - park is generally empty and we walk onto every single ride, enjoy Miniland, play with the Lego and duplo. It is a brilliant day out but they cram far too many people in during the holidays which makes it an awful experience of 1-3hr queues for every ride

hippygirllucky · 11/08/2023 06:36

Queuing with a 21mo sounds like absolute hell so maybe we'll go when she's older! Thanks all. Going to have a look at the other options mentioned.

I love locally and used to go with mine at that age. Weekdays in the autumn during term time will be very little queuing.

No. We did it twice for my dc1 and dc4 3rd birthday. Dc1 was just about able to appreciate it but dc4 really wasn't.
