How to help dd deal with stage fright

Hi. Hoping for some advice.

Our 9yo dd is in a band with some of her friends from school. They get together every Saturday and have their own songs that they practise. She loves it!
They just had their first gig at their school summer fayre today, which dd was really excited about.

To cut a long story short, dd didn't perform with them. She had a massive wobble. As soon as we arrived her eczema went beserk and she became increasingly clingy. By the time it was their turn to perform she was crying and shaking. She sat and watched her band perform and then felt awful afterwards.

I know she wants to be able to perform. How can we help her to overcome this so that next time they perform she feels she is able to join in?

Least said soonest mended, probably. If you treat it as a big issue or a problem that has to be overcome it will just put even more pressure on her. Just let her talk about it in her own time.

Can I suggest drama lessons? Anything to help her build her confidence before the next gig
