Easy piano music (for me)

The DCs really enjoy me playing them songs but for me to play fast enough for them to sing along it has to be really easy, I can't manage chords in both hands for example. Like the attached.
I'm thinking folk songs, kids songs, Beatles, easy pop?
Any recommendations or helpful search terms?
Thanks!

Hi drspouse I had Chesters easiest nursery rhymes when they were little and then had The Animal Songbook when slightly older... lots of fun playing with a toddler on your lap!

Is it this one? Looks doable!

Ooh I have discovered a blast from my 70s childhood- Apusskidu- ordered them both from eBay!

Those school songbooks like Apusskidu are great! Also look for Microjazz books by Christopher Norton. Bouncy little tunes but easy enough for beginners.

Yep ! That’s the one!

We have managed to steal my MIL’s original copies of Apusskidu, Ta-ra-ra-boom-de-ay and at least one other from when she taught primary in the 80s, and they’re great.

I would also recommend Hook, Line and Singer, compiled by Cerys Matthews. It’s only the melody and chord letters, rather than proper arrangements for piano, but if you can work with that it’s a nice little book.

Thanks all!
I discovered that site I linked to (musicroom.com) has ratings of Easy (as well as Beginner and harder ones) and Easy is Grades 1-3. I had Grade 5 when at school but obviously have not practiced at all much so 1-3 is perfect for me.
Some of the school packs are really expensive but I'm looking out for things elsewhere.

Hello! What about getting an easy 'fake book'? That's a book that just has the right hand melody and then instead of a left hand there are the names of the chords above the melody line - like guitar music. I did grade 4 piano yonks ago but find it much easier to play like this than read two lines of music at once - even if it's simple! Most simple songs only have about 3 chords (and you probably know them already). If you buy a 'fake book in C' then all the music will be in C major and the three basic chords you need to know are C, F and G. You can just play as block chords in the left hand...or start doing little variations if you're feeling adventurous - as long as you hit one of the notes in the chord it will sound good! This type of music is also known as 'lead sheets' and there's loads on the internet. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious and you already know about all this, but I only just discovered this way of playing and love it!
