Hello on a nc as have posted too much on other name.

Looking for audition and concert pieces for dd , not really modern theatre except for the more operatic pieces.
She enjoys folk, Italian Arias, some church music, and standards

Examples: Ash Grove, Last Rose of Summer, The fishers song, The sun whose Rays, The sound of music, songs from The Secret garden.
A Clare Benediction, Ave Maria, Amazing Grace, Panis Angelicus, voi che sepate, O mio Babino Caro.
A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Somewhere over the rainbow etc.

I know there are lots of gems out there that I probably have never heard and she drives me mad for more suggestions.

Some more church type psalms or uplifting spiritual songs would be a huge help.

That's just a broad selection of the stuff that springs to mind in various categories. Depends what suits your dds voice. Eldest had a very " boy treble" sound until recently and these suited well though the messiah stuff was too " big" for her to perform solo really. Don't be afraid of simple stuff performed with big presence and commitment to words and mood eg if you choose Dowland look behind it - it's often cheeky ( sometimes down right Tudor rude!) and politically subversive!
