Both potential PMs want to remove all remaining EU laws offour statute books

This is ringing alarm bells with me. Some EU laws have been around for a long time and have important benefits. The haste with which they want to remove them all will leave little time to consider what important gaps will be left. The message seems to be that the laws will be repealed to stop businesses being held back. Given there is some consumer protection legislation included in these laws I am thinking there will be fewer checks on unscrupulous business behaviour towards consumers in future. The current rules on compensation for flight delays and some unfair trading regulations could be two of the things to go. Has anyone else noticed this? As both potential PMs are saying they are going to do this it looks like it is going to happen although I very much hope not.

Utterly crazy as just about everything to do with Brexit is.
Will they remove the laws that the UK sponsored?

I suspect though, that there won't actually be enough time to remove them, unless they pass one blanket law - which would then lead to anarchy.
