Why does brexit Nigel want Ireland out of EU?

Why is anything Ireland does re EU the business of failed English politicians?

Because we should grateful they taught us their civilised ways and made us something resembling human instead of leaving us as beasts. He changes the number of hundreds each time and never gets it right.

But seriously, if we did leave it would mean comparing them to NI wouldn't be a perfect show of how stupid Brexit is, and that they're world leaders that everyone wants to copy and be like.[eyeroll]

Clandestin · 19/10/2021 17:15

Because he’s historically illiterate, NI being sold up the river by Brexit makes Brexit look like the monumentally stupid idea it is, and he thinks he can pull his funny little ‘sovereignty’ tricks on Irish people.

DublinFemale · 19/10/2021 18:06

He also has no clue of how our political system works.

This is a referendum for us to change the constitution.

We are intelligent enough in enough numbers to recognise what the EU has done for Ireland for 40yrs compared to the bullying economic tactics of UK for 70urs.

Nigel still thinks Ireland is a colony instead of an independent sovereign nation. These Brexiters all live in the age of Empire in their own silly little heads.

wewereliars · 19/10/2021 18:27

Because he sold a load of racist dishonest horseshit to the UK and made lots of money, got loads of publicity, and got to bully some vulnerable people.

So he thinks he'll try his BS in ROI, but it looks like their journalists are better than our right wing cheerleaders! Well done Claire Byrne.

AosSi · 19/10/2021 18:30

God, what a sap. I love how hilariously out of touch he is with Irish culture and opinions on the EU. The EU standing behind Ireland when Britain tried to threaten us (again) during the negotiations played very favorably to the public here.

nancy75 · 19/10/2021 18:32

Because he is a toady faced swivel eyed c**t.
I could probably come up with a more well thought out response but in Nigel's case that’s all he deserves

DublinFemale · 19/10/2021 18:47

I work in an area where we have been planning and financing for Brexit impact within weeks is the result.

Actually contingency plans were been discussed and mooted prior to the referendum.

There is an Irexit/Nationalist party they don't seem to have any support worth writing home about.

CB could have done a better job and challenged the Westminister economic policy towards Ireland since we got our independence.

That is much more recent to his 800yrs of fighting.

Best thing to do with Fartage is ignore him.

DublinFemale · 20/10/2021 12:12

Farage has shown his ignorance yet again

If he wasn't getting paid every time he did one of those videos there would be so much potential for hilarity and keeping him busy/distracted from whatever cuntery he's up to.

This^ "Brexit Nigel" is too polite. He deserves a string of invective, topped with a salted caramel and banana milkshake.
Marchingredsoldiers · 22/10/2021 21:17

I reckon he needs the cash. I think brexit is a classic case of be careful what you wish for in nigel's case. He only did himself out of a job . Poor nigel...has to drum up new business.

QueenDanu · 22/10/2021 21:23

Wow. We shouldnt give him air time though. He could stir things up and people could die and he is just amusing himself.

Cafog · 22/10/2021 21:28

He hasn't one clue. Those recent videos are hilarious to watch though.

QueenDanu · 22/10/2021 21:33

Even a pantomime villain could cause damage. Message to media: Stop interviewing him

KimDeals · 22/10/2021 21:39

He’s a dick.
But I was so disappointed in that Clare Byrne “put down” - jesus it was lame!!! My 8 year old could do a better job of putting Nigel back in his box. Such a missed opportunity.

RuggerHug · 22/10/2021 23:37

He gets off on making himself look stupid to an Irish audience.

Thekormachameleon · 22/10/2021 23:40

He hasn't got one single clue

He literally did cameo videos saying "up the Ra" and "Tiocfaidh ar la "

QueenDanu · 23/10/2021 10:28

I just watched that clip. Wow. He's a fascinating character because there is a sort of thin veneer of charisma about him. He stays cheerful even when his arguments are 100% busted by outcomes, logic. facts.... He's never, ever cowed, or wrong, he just keeps smiling.

DublinFemale · 23/10/2021 15:34

It could've have been a lot better.

There is so much wrong with an English toad trying to dictate to Ireland again.

CB barely touched the sides, the opportunity was there, to destroy him and his bullshit.

He shouldn't be getting air time. For an English ' man' (debatable) who is obsessed in countries making independent decisions, he seems very Interested in dictating to another country to do as he says.

And he supposedly believes countries should make their own independent decisions.

Obviously that is only true when Irish do as the English want.

I'm saying english as NF is english, I believe, so it is an english man lecturing to irish yet again on what they should be doing.

It is attitudes like his plus getting airtime which can cause trouble, rile up emotions which are/have been put to bed.

Because he is a grifting twat

DublinFemale · 23/10/2021 18:06

That and he is unemployed, maybe someone should help him apply for UC..

OP posts:
bellinisurge · 25/10/2021 18:40

He's a wanker. That answers most questions. He thinks britsplaining is the way to communicate with other countries

Marchingredsoldiers · 25/10/2021 20:37

He's a fascinating character because there is a sort of thin veneer of charisma about him.

They all have: Johnson, Trump, him. It might not appeal to everyone. But they definitely do have charisma. I remember Trump's son or son-in-law going on stage after the election debacle. Everyone ignored him. No presence at all. Then I realised how Trump can hold an audience in his palm, even speaking utter crap.

Nigel is the same. Hasn't he been question time into double figures? He may be "controversial" but also he comands attention in some way.

No way he'll manage in ireland though. Charisma will only you get so far. A relevant political message is needed too. A nationalistic english man telling them to leave the eu isn't very realistic or revelant to ireland! What a prat!
