Check the ranking of your constituency!
I'm ranked 128th and our numbers have now exceeded our MP's majority.

It's been posted in the threads but it's a great idea to give it its own thread so it's easy to find. I'm fascinated with it too.

Apileofballyhoo · 25/03/2019 19:52

Just bumping because it's handy.

I love that graph, it's fascinating.

381 🤦‍♀️. Stuck right in the Midlands apathy belt.

twattymctwatterson · 25/03/2019 20:23

It makes me feel equally proud and pissed off that not one single constituency in Scotland voted for this clusterfuck, yet it's being forced on us anyway

bugeyedbarber · 25/03/2019 20:59

I'm experiencing an immense schadenfreude at the thought that Zac Goldsmith will be utterly fucked at the next elections Grin

CoffeeRunner · 25/03/2019 21:14

The only thing about this is that it seems to show people haven’t really changed their minds that much since 2016.

The top 100 constituencies all voted to remain originally. You have to go all the way to 101 to find an area that voted leave but are now signing the revoke petition quite well.

TheFaerieQueene · 25/03/2019 21:20

Theresa May isn’t even supporting her constituents as they voted to remain.

Mine was 186 when I looked, i think. Remainer constituency - leaver mp Sad but there were plenty of leave constituencies ahead of us. The majority of the leave vote was so slim that you wouldn't expect to see a lot of change at the top and bottom (though there are 2 remain constituencies in the bottom 100) as that is where the views will be most entrenched. The important stuff is happening in the middle. And that's where leave and remain constituencies are in a very muddled up order.

Hardly any pale yellow constituencies left on the percentages map.

Peregrina · 26/03/2019 07:52

The only problem with this, as far as I can see, is that it doesn't show if the MP voted the same way as the Constituents. So e.g. Zak Goldsmith is potentially more vulnerable that many others near the top of the list being very much out of step with his constituents.

The key has changed for the petition map. It used to be a range of numbers but now it is a range of percentages - a lot more dark orange and red on the map now. Is that because the numbers were getting too big - they had to keep updating the key too regularly?

aprarl · 26/03/2019 16:56

Is it me or are the numbers from Northern Ireland really low, given the threat they face?

prettybird · 26/03/2019 21:14

Icantreachthepretzels - there was aka ways the option to change it to percentages, it was just that the default was numbers. It now appears that the default is percentages and you have to change it to numbers if you want to to see the map as numbers by constituency. If it's getting significantly darker red, they'll be changing the thresholds soon. Last time I looked the darkest one was >23% and the lowest one 0-3% (both might be x.something). That may change to, for example, >25%

Mistigri · 26/03/2019 22:07

Yes, and the fact that most of those constituencies were remain.

If there are N Irish people on here who use social media, you know what to do ...
