Over on Twitter, I have been keeping an updated tally of Brexit consequences (job losses, investment cutbacks, assets being transferred to the EU27 etc.) over the last few months, and it now stands at over 200 entries.
You can browse the thread at the link below (each tweet links to the original source of the information/data if you want more detail)

But I know this is just the very tip of the iceberg. Most firms are suffering in silence. There are anonymous passing allusions to problems here, on Facebook, on Twitter, on other web forums etc.
I understand that. I really do. Who wants to stick their head above the parapet, to publicly show "weakness"? Nobody, right?
And yet, by staying silent the people concerned are - entirely accidentally - helping to perpetuate Brexit. Why? Because if instead of 200 examples there were 2,000 or 20,000, then at some point it would be impossible for them to be ignored, and the mood of the nation would change.
So I implore you, if there is a way to reveal the pain that Brexit is causing you publicly, be that on a company blog, in a press release, by calling the local or national press, etc. please have a serious think about doing so.
(Again, I understand and appreciate why you might be reluctant to. Nobody's forcing you. I can't reach through the screen and pluck the words out! But at least give the matter a moment's consideration, please.)
Because, if we want to have any real chance of steering away from the cliff edge, of changing the outcome of Brexit, we have to pull together and shout in unison what millions of us already know: the Brexit Emperor has no clothes!
Remember, in the story the Emperor made it a long way through the town before being exposed (if you'll forgive the pun). Why? A combination of fear, shame, and a feeling of "somebody else is going to do it" prevented the townsfolk from speaking out. It took a small child to voice what everyone else was thinking.
When it comes to Brexit, we don't have a small child. But we do have you. So take a moment to reflect. Could what's happening to your firm, your non-profit, your organisation be made into a news story. And what would the consequences be if it were?
And if, upon weighing up the notion, you decide to gulp, take a deep breath, and tell the world, then I wish you every luck with it. If you have an identifiable story to add, one that can be tied back to a responsible source of information, then please also add a link to it below so that I can gather it into a future iteration of my Twitter thread.
Alone, we're just left staring at the Brexit Emperor's scrawny dangly bits in stunned silence. Together, maybe - just maybe - we can force him to cover up.
