Your plans for the future in case of no deal?

I am an EU citizen, i have lived here all my adult life. I also have a British passport.

I am thinking that if we crash without deal, I would consider leaving the UK. I have a British husband which makes it harder but no kids which makes it easier. It isn't my first choice and it wouldn't be due to the "atmosphere" in the UK. It would just be due to the country likely having to go through some very difficult times in the next decade(s), which I didn't vote for.

If I ended up sticking around (WA situation), one of the other things that has been on my mind is to get more involved politically. Bit of a wake up call for me in that sense.

Knowing that the post Brexit years might be quite challenging, how do you envisage your future? (I am talking about ways you can shape it to improve the situation rather than just what the country will be like)

I am ethnically English, have lived here all my life and feel very bleak about the state of the country, its politics and its future place in the world. There is so much wrong in the status quo, eight years of austerity have created so much inequality - the country is split, and indeed even "wealthy London" where I live is split between the haves and have-nothings.
Brexit will only make this worse, politically and economically. It is a bad, bad mistake and I think many politicians know it but are too afraid to stand up and say so.
I have always felt blessed to be born British, but for the first time ever in my life, I now feel that perhaps emigrating somewhere more united and tolerant would make for a better life for me and my kids. Unlike you however, there is no possibility of escape.

Totally agree with you on the underlying issues (have vs have not). This was my main reason behind wanting to be more involved politically. We are very fortunate but I would like to get involved in fighting against inequalities to make the future better. In saying that, i do wish people had realised that it was more of an internal issue than something to do with the EU. Trying to squeeze more and more out of people for less and less is not the answer. I do love the UK though and it feels like home, saddened to see what is happening.

I don’t have anywhere to go! Well i can’t leave UK shores.
I am not English but I do live in england.
If our jobs go here then we would probably look to move home.
I may then get to vote in another referendum!!
