If Teresa May is defeated tomorrow will this be good or bad?

Sorry if this is a dim question.

I've been refusing to watch the news on brexit for ages.

As someone who wants to remain and is praying for a second referendum will it be good if she's defeated? Would we get a second referendum then? Or will we still leave the EU but on worse terms and it will be anarchy?

{destroy peoples’ faith in democracy.}
The 'democracy' that is being demonstrated is somewhere between the version in Russia and something approaching what real democracy should be.
'Buying votes' by misinformation on social media or downright threats are hardly democracy.

"Buying votes" is a very, very serious accusation, and one that could not possibly be substantiated by ANY kind activity on social media. So those making it, substantiate that this has been happening please.

Absolutely. Unfortunately Theresa May and others have been deliberately closing down investigations or at least delaying and finding excuses for not getting allegation investigations under way.
When you have a Prime Minister who through her husbands business activities have a vested interest in NOT investigating until it is too late you have to wonder where to make a start.
Lying to the public by writing £350 Million to the NHS doesn't even start. The amount the UK pays to the EU is around £200 Million a week, 0.7% of GDP and equating that as a 'saving' was intended to deceive. The fact that despite that, the UK government could afford to put either £200 Million or even £350 Million a week extra into the NHS if it wanted was also 'glossed over'.
The preparations for exiting are costing the taxpayer WAY more than these sums already, and there is still weeks to go before the UK leaves.

While I am not suggesting that Mr May is doing anything illegal, it would be stupid and unnecessary for him to do so, but you can bet his accountants are reviewing finances and making sure they are located in places that will be least exposed to the mess that is about to be unleashed.
