How does Labour get rid of/replace Corbyn?

Do all the members have to vote? Surely they've had enough of him by now?

If enough members of the Labour party wanted to get rid of Corbyn - could they?

Is there anyway we can get rid of him? - I'm not a party member and as must be obvious from this post don't know a lot about politics. I just vote Labour and am desperate for there to be a proper/strong leader for the party who can challenge and take over from the Conservatives.

He's dreadful

MrsTerryPratcett · 16/12/2018 01:09

So join the party. If you want a say and don't like him.

megletthesecond · 16/12/2018 01:55

I'd like to know too.

Corbyn will be replaced with someone similar, I boak when Angela Raynor and Long-Bailey rage at everyone - I pity them it can't be nice being that angry about everything all the time.

AnnieNonaMouse · 16/12/2018 14:39

I think the parliamentary party has decided to leave the issue to rest after Corbyn won the last leadership challenge due to his popularity among members. Despite his glaringly obvious leave supporting somewhat vague position on Brexit, he still has a strong cult following.

noblegiraffe · 16/12/2018 14:43

The youth aren’t over him yet.

They’re having to come up with increasingly tenuous excuses as to why he is totally incompetent as Leader of the Opposition though.

Loletta · 16/12/2018 14:49

Can't get rid of Corbyn unless he loses a GE and decides to resign.
I wish we had Keir Starmer as Labour leader

btecmums · 17/12/2018 09:39

Honestly I think Jeremy Corbyn is one of the best politicians alive today and he needs to be PM ASAP!

btecmums · 17/12/2018 09:42

Also Nigel Farage is really hot

LucheroTena · 17/12/2018 16:45

Btecmums needs her medication “Nurse!!”

Can’t the party have a vote of no confidence in him?

bellinisurge · 17/12/2018 17:42

They did.

bellinisurge · 17/12/2018 17:42

Or rather, the parliamentary party did.

LucheroTena · 17/12/2018 17:53

When can they have another one??

UnderMajorDomoMinor · 17/12/2018 17:55

Labour has gone to the dogs.

bellinisurge · 17/12/2018 17:56

The Parliamentary party may hate him (the majority do) but as long as Momentum types have a hold on the general membership (and they seem to) we are stuck with the unelectable little shite.

Corbyn is a huge disappointment. He is no different from Theresa May. Both pretended to support the Remain side in the referendum while keeping their heads down, doing damn all and were obviously closet leavers.

Both keep parroting this "we respect the result of the referendum, will of the people" nonsense because they think it will give their party some advantage. They chose to ignore the fact that the referendum was ill-conceived, fraudulent and won on lies.

Only 27% of the British people voted for this brexit nonsense, and some were racists, but many of them voted that way because they believed the leavers lies.

Neither Corbyn or May has any true principles or beliefs. Both are hypocrites who put party before country and personal ambition before party or country.

Jazzybeats · 21/12/2018 09:02

Join the party...

SisterOfDonFrancisco · 21/12/2018 09:06

I would assume that joining the party would be the first step. Last time he I think said if he was voted out he would go but he was voted to stay.
