So that's alright then.

Takes 'controlling expectations' to a whole new level.

To think that if Mr Farage had been replaced by a MEP who was a good negotiator who communicated their successes to the UK public all of this may never have happened.

Well, I suppose it is progress from
"Not as bad as the Black Death" Hmm

.....but that depends on the definition of what "not the end of the world" looks like Confused

As long as the Earth doesn't literally crack like an egg? Grin

Good synopsis on the trajectory of this coup de deceit (led by a fascist lemming cabal ). But may I add a couple of critical stages ...

'Sunlit uplands' became

The free trade agreement with the EU that will be "the easiest in human history" with

'the exact same benefits as we have now' which became

‘Britain will not be "plunged into a Mad Max-style world borrowed from dystopian fiction" then

'adequate food supplies' which became

'enough lettuce' and now

'we won't all die'

In fact I think those quotes above contain the beginnings of a poem.
In my fantasy moments I'd call it "The death of a brexit."

The emphasis on the 'all' is pretty terrifying.
