So this after the deal that hasn’t been fully negotiated or agreed, is applied?

Gosh, that crystal ball’s been busy

Hazardswan · 16/08/2018 22:34

It's in the event of a no deal which is either 60% likely to happen, 50% likely or uncomfortablely high.

And on the news the UK might
get a pandemic if we leavethe EU

IAmInsignificunt · 16/08/2018 22:41

I’m interested in all of it but I’m mostly interested in what the notices to individuals will say and when they will be issued.

Does it seem likely that the government will explicitly tell citizens to make provisions for food? Will that not cause mass protests and riots?

Hazardswan · 16/08/2018 22:41

dodie was reading that earlier to.

If anyone would like to contact their MP and be all "pull your fucking finger out, do SOMETHING better than this" then please use the link below! www.parliament.uk/get-involved/contact-your-mp/

Are they doing this to avoid being sued? Could backfire spectacularly?

PrincessMargaret · 16/08/2018 22:51

This is hardly a surprise? Oh no, my mistake, "project fear"? My money is on all this stuff ramping up til the end of the year when they cancel the whole thing, as "unworkable" or maybe that is just wishful thinking on my part.

Hazardswan · 16/08/2018 22:54

It's apparently going to strengthen goverments hand in negotiations, not sure if the gov care about the wider ramifications of the notices. Pro EU protest due 20th of October I think.

Hazardswan · 16/08/2018 22:57

I so hope your right Margaret

But still sign petitions, march if you can, email or visit your MP.

How will leaving the EU affect motor insurance?

Don't think there is going to be a deal, Whatever we suggest the EU will veto, just to punish us.

Hazardswan · 17/08/2018 19:00

We'll probably find out in the technical notices NotSuch

Another breakdown of the leak in the independent which might explain more (havent read it yet - sorry!)
