Or a mirage.

Or not

Just trying to shit some rainbows here folks. Its kind of needed at the moment dont you think? 😂

Asprilla11 · 30/06/2016 08:37

I think if the Government and more buisnesses had acted like Legal & General in assuming the chance of Brexit was 50/50 and put in safeguards just in case, then the outlook would have been less panic and more quiet confidence.

The Government, infact most MP's didn't really think it would happen though and some even told the Civil Service not to plan. Too arrogant in thinking the public would vote exactly as they were told.

True Asprilla! ^ this ^

Thefuturecouldbebright · 30/06/2016 08:41

Well that was meant to have upward arrows with 'this' but you get my drift..

Lweji · 30/06/2016 09:00

Those are some shitty rainbows. Wink Grin

I think it's better to be realistic.
No pots of gold at the end of the rainbow and no armageddon either.

And one possible sparrow does not spring makes, etc.
It won't be business as usual and there will be gains and losses.
Uncertainty is the worst thing that could happen right now. And it's happening.

Thefuturecouldbebright · 30/06/2016 09:12

Agree completely lweji but we cannot dismiss emerging good news and talk of positive factors completely. Even though I agree that at this point they are speculative and may not materialise, nonetheless they are forward thinking reassurances and right now thats what everyone is desperately clamouring for.

Thefuturecouldbebright · 30/06/2016 09:13

And its about time the government delivered a plan, or a framework for one, that I totally agree with.

Lweji · 30/06/2016 09:14

Sure. But will you consider the bad news at the same time?

If it's 90% bad and 10% good, you can focus all you like on the 10%.

Thefuturecouldbebright · 30/06/2016 09:17

Of course! I have! But either way, I always knew there would be some negative fiscal/economic reactions to the decision in the immediate aftermath. However, I think the instability in the government right now is perpetuating the problem more than Brexit itself and they need to get their act together stat!

Thefuturecouldbebright · 30/06/2016 09:20

Trust me, I am feeling the fiscal pain too in my business with rising material cost. However, I am confident once a plan emerges that things will settle down and these effects will lessen. On the flipside for me, the personal bonus of the pound falling, means I can market my product more competitivly outside just the uk.
