Remember after the Scottish Referendum, he came out and didn't even seem to acknowledge how really close it was? He had escaped by the seat of his pants but you would have thought he had won a landslide.

The thing is even if Cameron wins, he will have to go very soon after. His credibility, along with Osborne's, is in ruins.

SpringingIntoAction · 16/06/2016 00:13

If Cameron wins he'll stay as long as he can - and then we'll get Osborne.

Deep joy.

I'm no fan of Cameron but wasn't the result 55% to 45%. It wasn't really that close.

claig · 16/06/2016 00:27

I think that is close. A lot of people voted for independence and looking at Cameron afterwards, you would never have guessed it. Cameron is the Prime Minister of this country and when 45% of Scots vote to leave the United Kingdom, I think Cameron needs to make sure that he doesn't underplay how serious it was.

I'm steeling myself for it. People who don't understand business will be scared by all the doom-mongering and vote Remain. What can you do?

Sad.

They are signing away everything we have worked decades to achieve
The NHS will collapse under the strain of uncontrolled migration. Our kids will never afford their own house because we will need to build a new house every 6 minutes to cope with current migration demands. we will be the placid bitch of the EU to do whatever it wants with us. All because a lot of elitist socialists think their freedoms are not worth fighting for because St Jeremy of Corbyn is unelectable.

Bow down to your masters Goldman Sachs.

I do NOT want to be dictated to by Robert Murdoch and his, 'Sun' newspaper. He's really revving up and pandering to the right wing bias. Silly old Australian bastard. He ditched his Australian citizenship for American citizenship just for the tax advantages. All hail R. Murdoch. Not.

He wants to be able to tell the Prime Minister what to do, he just gets ignored in Brussels.

'Placid Bitch' jeez. Is that the level of sensible debate these days ?

Spinflight · 16/06/2016 22:46

Yes he would be insufferably smug.

One of the side benefits of voting to leave is getting rid of the 80% of our MPs who wish to sell us out on the cheap to the EU.

Think Blair, Brown, Cameron, Osborne, Heseltine and Major etc all looking as though they've been slapped in the face by 65 million people.

A much more pleasant thought. :)

References to "getting rid of MPs" are particularly inappropriate today, don't you think?

A very cheap shot from you.

Is that how you think you will win referenda?

I have to say I am looking way beyond the people fronting this campaign, it wouldn't matter to me who it is crowing that we are remaining, it could be dame judy dench, it could be the delicious Aiden Turner, and I would feel ill.
