Am soooooooooooooo fed up of wet wipes. Remember a while ago there was a thread about what to soak your own ones in - was it chamomile tea and lavender? any advice please

We use halos and horns baby shampoo dissolved in some warm water, it works well.

Thanks alkar - and what do you use for the wipe?

Bits of thin fleece also work well, just with warm water is fine

I bought a load of super cheap face cloths - about 25, and simply run them under the hot tap before each nappy change.

They clean DS up just nicely! Ds is now 16 mo and it is all I use on him.

I also keep a watering can under the tap so that the excess water isn't wasted while I wait for it to warm up - keeps my ethical halo shiney!

We have the junior joy flannel squares from the nappy lady but any old flannels would work

My Mum says she used to carry around cut up bits of j-cloth in a plastic bag. Old flannels are good too. I just use water.

Cheap flannels and plain water are ideal.

SparklingSarah · 20/04/2009 12:37

thin cheap flannels - pound shop have about 6 for um a pound!

they get lobbed in the machine when done!
