I need a shed

Wooden sheds are a pain & need new roofs & staining every few years

Plastic sheds are not eco or green but just sit there with an occasional spray from a power washer

Life is too complicated

Tis very difficult.

I suffer qualms of conscience every time I switch on the tumble dryer. But as I work 4 days a week in the name of equality and I don't notice DH rushing to tackle the laundry, sometimes I think my sanity has to take precedence over the state of the planet.

Then I feel guilty about it.

Sigh.
Agree life is too complicated, can't we go back to the 70s when microwaves, Angel Delight and labour saving devices were all considered to be A GOOD THING.

Wood is renewable source, plastic comes from crude oil and is non-renewable and non biodegradable when finished with. Go with wood?

I put my shed up in 2002 and I've never repainted it or given it a new roof and it's fine. I did put that ronseal stuff on it when I put it up though.

Mine is due a second new roof and has been stained about 3 times in 9 yrs
