hiya i try not to use the tumble drier but sumtimes maybe once aweek use it to finish things off but am tempted to buy a washing line cover to dry it outside in the rain but don't know if they are any good
what we have got
tv
digibox
bolier
lights can't use energy efficent i think
fridge
freezer
fire or delonhi heater
spin dryer washing machine
2 rat repllents essential lol
light outside with energy light
microwave
electric hob and cooker
and evrything else which just gets used then put away
i do unplug everything which isn't in use and turn lights off if we are not using them asuch the main thign i find using which i don't like is the heaters but i don't see what i can do about it as it is so cold it is only really a tent and it is september but i don't have it on all night anymore which do u think would be better to use halegen or delongio radiator i useally only use radiator when it is real cold on high then turn it down if i can
i try to keep ev

Ooh, that Lidl one, how does it work, does it measure your whole leccy usage? Or do you just plug each appliance in and it measures each appliance?

babyjjbaby · 04/10/2008 12:10

it just measure each applianced

v useful because you can calculate how much each of your appliances costs you to run. So when you find out the iron costs more than the tumble drier, you might choose to tumble dry longer instead of ironing, or vice versa.

I know the Daily mail were doing the proper ones (that you plug into your leccy meter) free for every reader - I can't see it on the online bit but saw it in the paper last week. Think you have to collect coupons..

We paid £30 for ours and it's paid for it self already - it tells you how much leccy you;re using at any one time and you end up turning off loads of stuff!!
