www.greengardener.co.uk/bokashi.htm.

why not e mail where you got yours from if online and ask?

thats good to know, what do they come out like?

cmotdibbler · 08/08/2008 20:51

I'd have to go and dig in the bottom of the compost bin to find out ! We've been using Bokashi since September and haven't dug out the compost bins since - but when DH turned it over nothing rancid was going on, just all composting nicely.

ah, you have a large model not the table top one?

cmotdibbler · 10/08/2008 21:44

No, I meant the outdoor compost bin - once the bokashi has finished fermenting, we tip it into the general compost bin to break down. At the end of the two weeks Bokashi process, everything looks the same as when you started which is a bit bizarre

, that is strange, not quite the same in bokashi, most things have started to degrade quite well but with no horrible smell.
