I also carry a bag in my bag, but legally we have to pay for every plastic bag we use in Ireland, so it's cheaper to recycle and reuse.

BTW have been meaning to ask you Cod, why can't you spell? Have you a wonky keyboard?

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:38

SHE IS A GOB SHITE

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:38

oops capslock

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:39

M and S fondant fancies have changed my life.

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:42

pink is more avant garde cod you are behind the times.

solo · 19/07/2008 01:42

icod may be offended by that question or even by being called a gob shite . Are you pals?!
I assumed that she is dyslexic, but I could be wrong?

S1ur · 19/07/2008 01:43

heh cornsilk, is that the sound of the middle aged class stampeding towards yuo I hear?

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:46

i don't know if sh is dyslexic - she is everyone's pal.
What question????

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:47

slur - WTF?

S1ur · 19/07/2008 01:50

'm&s fondant fancies changed my life'

great line, like my mate when she said,

I was in the garden and sighed and thought, I love my rockery. and then almost cried becuase she realise she'd Crossed A Line

cornsilk · 19/07/2008 01:52

Ah I understand a bit more now.

solo · 19/07/2008 10:01

What question? ...the question that went 'why can't you spell, have you a wonky keyboard?' that was asked by zazen.

Oh dear - logged on after going out. Sorry cod - you are not a gobshite - it was meant fondly (as one does when one is pissed and embarrassing.)

she can spell, just not type

taipo · 19/07/2008 12:43

lol at how this has turned into a 'Why can't cod type?' thread.

Flamesparrow · 19/07/2008 12:43

I don't get on with string bags though - I always get stuff caught up

JulesJules · 19/07/2008 12:45

Yes, I noticed them in Marks Food, but how much can you actually get in them? Don't things fall through the holes? Are the handles long enough to go over your shoulder? Just black and pink or other colours? How much are they?

You can only buy nice things with a string bag though. People can see what you've bought and judge.

I do though. One of my favourite pastimes is looking at other people's shopping trolleys and judging. It helps pass the time in the checkout queue.

Hmm. You're starting to convince me. I had my eye on the black one when they first came into M&S but I talked myself out of it. I didn't want people judging my Percy Pig purchases . It's not like I'm feeding them to children...
