Come on, tell me!! Are Soapnuts all they're 'cracked' up to be???

I like the idea, and I've 'sort of' talked dh round but I don't want to 'shell' out on them for them to not be quite as good as everyone says they are....

and where's the best place to get them?? should I be swayed???? see, I'm over halfway there already !!!

Just putting them in a window for a day or so bleaches too

I sent off for some sample ones but they never arrived. Not much help am I?

soapnuts just didnt get stuff clean, unless we did only half loads (& even then, iffy). I went to biological deterg. aftr that & havent looked back.
Using bio deterg. I can get most things clean at 30, hard water.

I like them. Also made some all purpose cleaner with them this week. It works very well. Cleaned the bath, basin, loo, hob, oven door, worktops & kitchen cupboard doors. Phew! Got my original lot from Lakeland but I will now source some cheaper ones.
