Sorry but Ecover dishwasher tablets are shite - can anyone suggest an alternative?

I am giving up on them
I have tried and tried but they just don't do the job. I have a pretty new Miele dishwasher too, so it isn't that the dishwasher isn't up to it.

Is there any other better eco friendly dishwasher tablet?

i use the simply washing eco friendly ones too, got 120 for £9.00, on a special offer, they seem to do them quite a lot

have hard water, so use salt .

rinse plates first too!

gets everything clean, but i also clean out the filter and teh little water spouts on the arms regulalry

i actually find i have to use salt with all of them, i didnt realise it was to do with water hardness

I use Simply too, they are brill.

(I got 4 half price ages ago, as an introductory offer, & now always get one free with 4 of laundry detergent, so haven't had to pay £4.99 for a tub yet)

That's weird. I use ecover tablets (sometimes half a tablet), and get lovely clean shiny dishes etc. My Mother uses the most intensive, eco-unfriendly, rinse-aid-included options she can find and has inferior results (including in the same dishwasher). Not as clean, the rinse aid leaves a really nasty residue and all her glasses are cloudy.
