We had the most amazing evening, ate by candlelight,(gnocchi with basil, pinenuts and peas, yummy)then sat and talked til bed. We cheated and had music on, but used candles in the kitchen and bathroom.
It was so restful, we've said we're going to do it every weekend. With my poor eyesight I felt like a lady in Cranford when I was trying to find something in the paper that I wanted to discuss with DP
Anyone else enjoy that break from the glare?...I'm sure I looked more fetching in that light!!
PS I DO know I would HATE it if I had to live with that level of lighting all the time.
