Chemical free products

I'm really hating the fact that i use so many chemicals on my body (ds & dh too) everyday so would like to become a chemical free and greener household (as much as possible anyway) but would really like some recommondations. I have been looking on the net but there are so many companies and some are quite expensive, would like to know what others use and whats a good buy.
Want to change our shampoos, shower gels etc first (can't afford to do everything in one go but thought that would be a good start!) so any ideas please??

Pitrok roll-on deoderant. Expensive but seems to last for ages. It's just a crystal.
I have been using Avalon shampoo for a while and some shower gel called Ocean something. All as chemical-free as I can find and all from Waitrose.

There was a thread a while back on this and someone recommended Lush products.

you could use soap nuts inctead of conventional washing detergent... that would take chemical out of your clothes and they are very very cheep

I got a trail sample and tried in on friday. I was so shocked and how good they were and i felt they cleaned my clothes cleaner than my normal biological detergent, though i only ever 1/3 - 1/2 the amount recommeded)

Waitorse do lots of chemical free or less chemical baby products (i was studying them all in great detail yesturday)... not ^that expensive, most things

Have you ever heard of the chemical free products called ENJO? They were founded in 1990 in Austria and are now in 22 countries worldwide - in fact 75% households in Scandanavia use only ENJO to clean their homes (and their bodies) and in Australia ENJO is the fastest growing company. ENJO has been in this country for only 4 years and has just suddenly started to boom. Using simply the minimum of cold water and polyester fibre technology in the form of cloths, gloves and ENJOfils (cloths) it is possible to clean every surface inside and outside your home (and your hair and body - can use warm water here)achieving 100% bacteria free. There is no effort, no packaging, no chemicals, they save time and money (in the long term) and can last up to 4 years so no having to replace on a regular basis. You can read more about the products on Janey Lee Grace's website www.imperfectlynatural.com aswell. Sound too good to be true? I thought so but saw a demo and would never use anything else now. if you want to know more drop me a line - I cannot praise them enough!
