No idea re the phosphates - wish I'd seen the thread, we've just bought 5 tubs for the price of 4, their standard offer! DH read about the company in the Yorkshire POst.

Lulumama · 08/10/2007 13:27

have just ordered the 4 tubs , hope they are good!

WendyWeber · 08/10/2007 13:28

Oh, Panda, sorry for that!

It's such a good deal I think I would buy the half-price ones as well - they don't take up a huge amount of space.

They wash really well, lulumama - everything is squeaky-clean. The only (minor) problem with them is that you can't really put them in the tablet dispenser unless you make sure it's bone dry first, because of the dissolving outer skin.

My d/w does 2 pre-wash cycles before the one where the tablet would normally fall out; if I put these on the d/w floor all the detergent would have drained away by the time the wash cycle started, so I'm skipping the pre-washes (doesn't seem to affect performance though, and uses less water, so good news all round really )

may well do - have been impressed by the cleaning of the clothes, haven't used the dishwasher tabs yet as still got some ecover ones left. Having reda the answer on your other thread re phosphates am in a bit of a dilemma though, want tpo be green and clean!

This is interesting, from the Natural Hist Museum - scroll down to the Nordic Swan bit at the bottom - suggests phosphates are OK.

The FAQ page has this bit:

So that sounds all right.

I think.

I've just ordered 5 dishwasher tubs and 4 laundry for £20!! I can't believe it, and am going to convert DD, though she's addicted to fabric conditioner.

Any ideas of a eco friendly, nicely scented rehab product for her?

Lulumama · 08/10/2007 13:58

thanks wendy... i will look forward to getting them and will look at ordering the laundry stuff too

PandaG · 08/10/2007 14:00

Thanks for that WW, (feels weird typing that, I think of you as your pevious incarnation) Will use the aquados with a clear conscience then

Lulumama · 09/10/2007 11:52

well, that is good service ! my box of dishwasher tabs arrived at 9.00 am !

I got my laundry product online and I'm soooo impressed with the cleaning!

I have two kids and it has shifted stains that nothing else (not even a pre wash) has managed to move.

The kids are into the environmental stuff and I have to admit its secondary to me - well I'm the one who's expected to put clean clothes on everyone's backs aren't I?

But the fact that I can get everything spotless and smelling fresh WHILST doing my bit is fantastic. And it doesn't cost a fortune...

If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I'd say it's too good to be true. But it is true.

OK - rant over - what does everyone else think?
