Trying to be frugal as I'm giving up work due to poor health. Looking for ideas for sustainable living which do the job well! Any suggestions please?

Menstrual cup
Nappies and wipes
Lunch box and drink bottle! Bringing lunch and drink saves a fortune.
Cleaning cloths and mop heads
Dishcloths
Baking sheet
Cupcake cases

A lot of products just aren't necessary

Mooncups (also found my periods were lighter when using and no more sweaty rotting meat smell 🤮)
Cheeky wipes for the whole family, honestly not as icky as you'd think.
Washable nappies.
Charity shops for clothes, we are lucky there is a really good children's charity shop in my nearest town.
A debobbler makes my clothes look new again.
My sewing machine - I'm able to alter old clothes that don't fit anymore rather than buy new.
Re-use plastic tubs, jam jars anything I can as much as I can, when I buy single use I buy best I can afford as you tend to need to use less.
Home made hair gel using linseed, I have long hair and use a lot of gel.

@SlimGin mentioning the meat reminded me!!
We do still eat meat (family of 2 adults, a 4yo, a 2yo and expecting another baby) but stopped buying from supermarkets a few years ago. We now use an online butcher and do one big shop with them at the start of the month and £45-ish sees us through. It’s cut a big chunk off our supermarket spend doing it this way. We’ve also cut down the amount of meat we eat. We do a lot more veggie dishes now than we used to - slow cooker sweet potato curry is a firm favourite with the children!
